runics and balanced bows bugged ?

Hello

my first post here , but i read the forum for some months. Very nice peopel here.

I have read that there is a bug with the balnced property if you craft them with runic , i think it was said they can not be exceptional or something like this.

I want to make myself a nice balanced bow ( is lightweight shortbow good ?) should be belanced whatever runic i use or ?

so far i have not done the quests to get a runic tool and i would like to know if they are worth the time to do them

can somebody help me please

welcome to the forums(well at lest your first post), heartwood kits are most defiantly worth it..... the others are not. Of course you may have guessed, they are not easy to get and if you decide to buy one off a luna vendor it could run you 18 mil +

What are you going to use the Bow for? PvP? PvM?

Have you looked around to see if you can find a bow with stats you like and see how much they cost?

To answer about the bug, it's not the balance property that won't let you make an exceptional bow (I've made some myself) but it's when you try to craft any of the special bows (like the Slayer Bow) that will not allow you to make an exceptional.

I need the bow only for PVM
it should be one with enough SSI to get to the max speed with 150 Dex
and Damage increase of 40+ . ML, LL or HL would be very nice
i have some nice bows, but i would like to try one with balance, for using potions when i fight. But i play one Drachenfels and the few bow i saw that were balanced and for sale are utter crap.

Good Luck.

In my experience you can get a decent (for PvM, not great) bow from an Ash Runic.

Good luck! They take a while, and if you have a macro set to make bows, make sure you don't let the craftsman satchels build up in your backpack before checking them, because your macro WILL use ANY (including any runics if you have any) fletching kit in your backpack.
