I have seen alot of scrolls on different vendors that are recipes to make alot of different things. How do I get these, by doing a quest or do you need to have special abilites ect, or do they drop off mobs?

I've been getting them from doing the quests that offer crafter satchels in the elven village Heartwood, it's entrance is in the middle of Yew.

The bone machete recipe is the only one not given by one of the heartwood quests. It has to be done by the character you want to have it

I'll have to remember that. I couldn't remember where the Elven village was, but I know I've been there before. ^_^ I want to get some of those recipie scrolls, too. I've picked up a couple that people drop at the bank, but I need a lot more.

To get to heartwood, go to the yew (trammel) moongate, then head straight left across the screen, and a little south.

For my crafter who obtained the majority of recipes after the Heartwood rewards nerf, the blacksmith arty recipes were the hardest to obtain. It took over 1/3 MILLION! ingots (mostly self-mined the ore over last nine years) to get the last recipe I needed for the Luminous Rune Blade. That weapon tears through purple eagles...well worth the effort. The 2nd hardest to get was the Cold Forged Blade. I hope you have less difficulties with the Random Number Generator, aka ~Recipe...Not again...Given~ to your crafter.

Remind that, until my Mage gains a few more magic points to successfully mark runes, to NOT go back there again. I sent my ninja guy out, and now I'm completely lost, and dead, and I can't find my way back to the gate so I can go back to New Haven and kill undead stuff. T_T
