About the only other options to train it fairly quickly, if you're not interested in taking the time PvM'ing your way to GM, involves some friends. If you have any (many) mage friends, train it in Fel. If you're in a guild, guildmates can help you train it in fel or tram. Have mages cast weaken/clumsy/feeblemind on you. Order doesn't matter, but don't have them all casting the same thing. With 2-3 (or more) mages casting on you, gm in a couple hours. The more mages you get, the faster you go. Legendary will take longer, probably 4ish hours, maybe a bit less if you stone some skills off. Personally, if you're not interested in grinding, pvm'ing is a fun way to work skills and raise gold. |

![]() | Re: Raising resist Go to haven and train 40 resist from the resisting spells instructor. Then get 10-15 specteral spellbinders following you, then go to the coast and place a boat, then get on said boat. You will be GM in maybe 2ish hours. |

![]() | Re: Raising resist Ask a mage to party you and cast Arch Protection on you. It will lower your Resist skill by 35% making your training even faster. Then just ask another mage to cast Arch on you again. You need to be partied for it to work. No need of being guilded.

![]() ![]() | Re: Raising resist The Haven spellbinder trick the by far the best. Another option: Get disco'd by a satyr in Twisted Weald, then attack some pixies stuck on the rocks. Slow, but manageable. Seriously, the spellbinders are best. You can GM very quickly just running circles around 12 spellbinders (that's all that spawn) with arch protection on. ~M |

![]() | Re: Raising resist some very good ideas, thanks guys. i've been training very hard in a number of skills so I am getting a lot out of the game. but i find that resisting spells would put you in almost constant danger doing it alone... so it's good to know other things you can do.
