I searched this topic and as I am computer dumb really dident follow what to do. My problem is that I had my account suspended for several monthes for personal reasons. I reactivated it today, however when i tried to log in it gets stuck at verifying account. Also, when i quit playing i had deleted the UO folder on my hard drive entirely. I was wondering if this is what is causing my connection issue or is it the server?

Also i wanted to add that i am fully patched(at least to my knowlege)

well I would try it again now. Sometimes it needs a few minutes to update.

I agree, although it sounds to me like it isn't patched properly, but saying that, doesn't an incorrect patch give you a "Password invalid" or similiar screen?
The hanging at the verifying account screen sounds like a patch problem to me
I would uninstall and reinstall from scratch
If you have broadband, download the latest client (Mondain's legacy) from the web

I uninstalled everything and reinstalled and now it works fine, it wasnt the patch because i was patched to 502b. Who knows what the problem really was. Thanks for the help guys
