price check on: robe of tal'keesh

i have one and was wondering about what i could sell it for if i wanted to ?

i know it's an event item - so maybe i'd be able to just hang on to it just the same?

at any rate, i still like an appraisal of sorts...:grin:

oh yeah - it just says:

and has no attributes on it.

It has been heavily duped, so I would say the value is not very high until we see what further action the dev's take against duped items.

Er.. I thought it was a shroud.

Also with the monk robe being out now, this isn't worth as much as it used to be. Only to the die hard collector. I could see 25 mill range for a collector. 10-15 for everyone else.

most event robes generally hit the 20-30m range. If its a rare one, maybe more. But I heard these were handed out in bulk so I would say 20 tops.

Ohhh nevermind, I thought this was the shroud which is much rarer than the robe. There were only 13 shrouds given out, but 400+ given out of these robes. It's from Napa season 2 so it's from like 2003 or early 2004. due to my confusion I think this robe might be worth even less than I previously estimated. 10 mill tops perhaps? Maybe a little more to someone who actually wants to collect them.

Currently with all the dupes that robe is not worth anything to me. At least until the dev's take action and get rid of all the other counterfeits.

There might be a new dupe out there. Just ran into a vendor selling 2 inquisitors, a pacify, and 4 heartwood runic dovetail saws... argh

Oh, and you know how the GMs say to page them when you run into something like this? Well I did.. and guess what happened!?!

I got a canned response directing me to their website.. BAHH

edit: oh btw, The inquisitors were the only ones on the same vendors, but the runics and pacify were spread out on the same guys other vendors soo yea, essentially the same thing, he's just trying to not make it super obvious.
