50k-100k tops here on Baja. If it was a ring I'd say a little more.

I agree, around 100k on GL as well. Nice stat bonuses, but really nothing to go with it. It would certainly fetch more if it was a ring.

I'm guessing it's something to do with PvP

There must be some sort of wicked bracelet that everybody wants to use, and so rings of other types are preferable.

exacto Because there is a readily available uber mage bracelet, the orny, but not an uber mage ring. So those rings are completely random loot or craft. So more dough.

Exactly. The orny forms the base of many templates, but really nice rings to complement it are much harder to come by.
