Hi to everyone ! I am new to this game, i have started to play as warrior, everything is going well exept one, i have great difficulties fighting spellcasting monsters, they kill me like a rabbit ! So the question, how can i train spellresistance up from 30.1 skill level and effectivly fight with magic capable monsters. ???

Not sure if you're aware of this, but magic resist skill will in no way lower the damage you take from direct damage offensive spells. Meaning if a monster casts a flamestrike on you, the amount of magic resist you have means nothing.

What magic resist does do is lessen the effects of other, non-damaging spells like paralyze, mana vampire, curse etc. High enough magic resist can negate poison spells too.

Training magic resist means you need to have those non-damaging spells cast on you over and over again - so either you need a friend to cast them on you, or you need to get cast on by monsters. Mages have it easier here as they can cast on themselves and summon things to cast on them.

I'm no expert on magic resist though, so perhaps someone else can be more detailed on good ways to train it...

My Paladin has now reached 98.0 resisting spells
How did I do it, if I remember correctly I started fighting imps and gazer larva. Has these become less harmful to me I moved onto Air and Water Ellies then finally onto Litches and Titans.

I have found that I can now block poisoning and energy attacks (not all of them).
It is a skill that rises automatically everytime you get attacked by spell wealding monsters and I find it a great help and glad I spent the time training.
