Once i was killed, and than as a ghoust walked to the middle of their army near Papua. It looked terrible - hundreds of them in not so big space, including many strange creatures. I sow some General Dragons flying there, don't remember the exact name. No army in UO can deal with such a power.

I did solo one General. It took so long with my Pally/Swords I got bored. The recruits are ok if you can keep to the fringes of the crowd and not attract other critters. Mostly I'm just staying out of the mess.

I am not bothering with them. Doesn't make sense to me to have super Ophids start attacking ... where were they before and why do they have to be ridiculously powerful? I am not participating in this. If you can solo them, then you are really good. I killed some brood queen or something...with my White Wyrm, and it took a while, and the loot sucked. So, I went back to killing Earth Ellies with my pali and orc brutes with my tamer.

Man, am I the only person who loves soloing these things.. hehe.. The only generals I have had problems with were the Warriors, everything else I was able to solo with ease. The utmost ease. Soulseeker FtW! Key is to honor it, gain perfection and LS away!! I solo atleast 10-15 a day for my honor gains. Maybe its just my way, but I have always preferred a solo challenge to a group challenge. I know by soloing them I am not advancing any spawn, but appearantly no matter what we all do as our own shard's armys, its not slowing down, so might as well kill what we can while we can. Nothing else out there gives the fame and honor that these generals give with such ease.. Now the zerks on the other hand. Thats a whole diff story....

I love going into a group of recruits, maybe 5-10 of em and just whirlwinding them all to death while people can focus on their Generals. I am kinda the designated recruit killer!! Whenever I cant lure a General away, I just kill the Lts, recruits, matriarchs, queens. Sometimes all at once. People out there generally appreciate when I show up tho.. hehe.. They know that The Bo can clear out their path for em!

The warriors I have no problem, with honor and lightning strike I can solo them. The mages, most of the time I can't honor coz once they see someone they bless themselves. I can still take them on, it just takes longer.

I cant remember if it was a warrior or not hehe, I killed soo many. I just remember there was only 1 that was hitting me consistantly with 50-60s. That one I actually had to heal and confidence through. I deployed my ole swing by attacks I used to do when new to the game. The rest, I am able to stand and fight. I have been kwown to even take on 2 or 3 at a time with whirlwind. People come up and are like "are you ok" I just reply with, "yep, working honor, I got it, you can have any of the loot if they drop a mystic or red bardiche if you want tho, I'm just here working honor. I have no interest in anything these guys give" hehe.. They usually just stand by and wait. I'm not greedy, I dont jump in on someone elses fight if they dont want to. I try to respect others and figure they might be doing what I am doing. Alot of people Ive come across are there working skill, as the generals dont do much damage at all, except that 1 breed.

This is by far WAY easier than the Brit invasion. I can go through a town and wipe out entire masses with just whirlwind alone.

Oh hell yah, honor the Generals. They give amazing amounts of honor. I worked my guy up to 7 dots on 3rd path at swoops, then no longer got gains, went to generals, and boom, on 8th dot heading towards 9th. I hear that last one is by far the toughest and I dont know what I will have to kill then.

OK........ so when you get a General down, and you loot it. If you are lucky you might find a Power, Vanquishing or Mystic weapon.
Are these weapons any good against the other Reds?
I got an awful lot of Power weapons, a few Vanquishing and a couple of Mystic's. Need to know if they are no good be fore I dump them.......Or I could sell them to Maddux LOL.

they are very useful against the Berserkers, other than this, I have found no use for them. The Ophidian Bardiche's(the red ones) are for what I think is the next phase of this scenerio, they are ophid/terathen slayers. The mystic weapons go in order of power, vanq, mystic, I think it goes 30, 35, 40 DI, and intensities get better with each tier of weapon.

I noticed that their corpses dissappear very fast. If you don't loot it is the first minute, its gone.
The worsest thing with the generals is that when they almost done, they start to run away, sometimes right to the middle of their army. You have to run after them and hit, hoping to have the time to finish the damned thing.

This is why I go into a group, pick out the general, flag on him, and drag him far away from his army. I usually have to pick off a few that flagged on me on the way, but they usually go down quick. Then you are free to fight your general in a clear zone, and when he walks away, just keep up with him..

It's the knight-errant, that I have trouble with. I have to constantly watch my hp and heal a lot. The warriors are fine. They like to do the armour ignore but they rarely hit.

Oh and Bo, for honor, go do Succubus in the Dojo. Or in Spirit, if you want to do paragons while you're at it. I get to knight pretty fast there.
