Necromancy Karma Loss

Is there some formula or some such for the amount of karma lost when casting a necro spell?

I have not seen one. Since a Necro wants low karma it is rather easy. As you train your Necro skill the karma will naturally go down. Someone may have a chart somewhere?

Haven't seen or heard of a chart. Only thing I know is the higher the level of spell the more karma you lose. Sorry can't be of more help

Itd be awfully tough to chart it as tere isnt any way to see the hard numbers...

Like Vepl said, the tougher the spell the more Karma lost. I think too that you cant hit Dread just by casting. Killing the Meer in Ilsh wil get you to Dread Lord/Lady easily enough. Just watch out for Eternals...especially Paragons. A friend and I died several times trying to take down a Para Eternal and we were both GM+ Magery,Eval,Med with decent suits...

Isn't there a talisman that adds a certain % to karma loss for necros too?

Not sure about a talisman but there is the one spellbook that does
