Mr. Grim's Scythe?!

Just a poll to see if anyone thinks The Grim Reapers Scythe will go up in price at all. I have an opportunity to get one and was wondering if it was worth it (10m gold to be exact). Thoughts? Worth more now even?

Gah, I've seen em go for 6mil on Cats, 10 seems high to me. But it'll probably go up in a year or so, but maybe not if they are on the duped list.

with uo "pixle crack" ive found that trying to guess how much things will be in the future, its all a coin flip. maybe it will be worth alot more, but maybe it will be worthless aswell. if you have the spair gold, you might aswell get one now and sell it before next october just incase they do the grim again. but then again theres always a chance that they will do something totally diffrent and the Scythe will we worth ALOT more. what im trying to say is, basically its a crap shoot.

They'll go up, but it won't be for a while. I'm talkin a couple years because it's not a great weapon to begin with and due to the fact that the grim reaper thing carried on for almost a month there are a lot out there. It would be different if it was an actual EM event item, but it's not so I doubt it'll ever go for more than 30 mill at it's highest in a few years.

edit: Neaveh is right that it's a crap shoot in the sense that they could release a patch that makes scythe's god like, which would shoot the price up, or they might release a patch that makes a scythe completely worthless. I wouldn't buy one though, cause I think as an item it's worthless, but as a collectors item maybe. I don't really collect items for the sake of collecting though, but that's just me.

it will go up in price as time passes on.the question is do you want it to use or to collect?if your wanting to use it i`d just buy a breath of the dead....give or take some stats thats all it is damage wise.i see alot of people asking to buy them so if you do get one you shouldn`t have any trouble getting your 10 mill back for it when it comes time to sell.

Excellent thanks for the responses. I was thinking more of a "collection" or future gold maker, so I'll see if I can't get the price down a bit.
