Is it true that there is a chance to get a minor artie drop off of Paragon creatures? And are these the ML ones or the old ones?

Old ones, and honestly it is sooooo pointless to farm those anymore, they are near worthless

kk, shields of invuln are worth some, along with Alchemist's Baubles though

I also find that players will still pay for the lute and harp for the boost to barding.

Lolo's lutes are going for 200k-400k. I buy them constantly.

grizz, try this shop you can either go to the coordinates or wait for them to drop runes in luna on the weekends. they usually have a few for sale(50k for lute, 35-40k for the harp) i as well buy both the lute and the harp every chance i get.....but i have never paid more the 50k for either one.

I used to frequesnt a vendor near Destard who had them religiously for 25k. I always bought them all when they were in stock. But in the past 2 months, not a one. So I have resorted to a search engine for UO goods on specific shards. The cheapeat I have been able to find one as of late was 90k, and I thought I was lucky.
The population of Bards has grown immensely in the past year. I have a feeling the devs will nerf us soon. I pray I'm wrong. Bards are probably the most effective PvM chars out there today.
I haven't played an alternate character in prolly 3 years. It's just so damned fun.

Absolutely. Bards are the closest thing to gods in pvm action in the entire game. I truly hope the devs leave them alone as well...they manage to screw everything else up so I won't hold my breath.

My only thought on this is that Bards are in incredibly hard class to train up to the point of being really effective. They also are hard to play well and effective so why nerf them? Leave them alone, hard work and dedicated play deserves the ability to be a god! Similiarly (sp?)tamers take a ton of work to train up so leave them alone as well.

Good points merth. I agree completely, it took a llllooonnnngggg time to get my bard where he is, and I'm still not 120 in disco...I live off of ggs' now. Same with the tamer. Hard templates to work up for sure, but well worth the rewards when you get there!
