I have finally moved up to soloing Miasmas with my Pammy? (LoL what is the term for pally samurai?).

And my main question is, what is the marty drop rate? I saw para balrons were 1 in 10. So anyone have experience with miasma, or for that matter swoops (assuming they are similar)?

In a related note, I didnt realize till now that the named monsters can spawn as paragons, whats up with that?

But I must say that fighting Miasmas I got frustrated fast, i would lag at exactly the wrong time and would have to restart the client after every 2 kills or so. Anyway not sure if its because battle is more furious than before or is the server update made things worse, but I noticed more lag this time around.

not quite 1 in 10 fo swoops. They changed it (thank the llama), but you still get one about every 20 or so. Miasma not sure, but about 1 in 15 sounds right.

That was probably the drop rate when they first came out, now it's probably around 1/40 for Miasma and 1/60 for Swoop.

Heh Dip, I dun mind being wrong. Thanks for the correction. I said 15, cause my warrior (now that we know the bushido luck bonus has ALWAYS worked), has been getting BOOKOO amounts of set armor, marties, and more.Way more than Thom, even with his 1400 luck suit.

Thanks guys. 1 in 40 is a para titan if stratics can be trusted and 1 in 81 for cyclops warriors (I hate that there is such a big difference). So miasma is only as good as a para titan, hummm might have to rethink my hunting grounds.

PS I have heard VIP Samurai.

Vampire including Paladin Samurai, its sounds nice, even if its not extraordinarily short. Alas I am only a lowly Palurai.

It also could be my RL luck coming into effect though Baldguy 'cause I could go days of killing Miasma or Swoop and not see a thing, where others I'll get back to back Marty drops and/or set armor. But it seems to be the former more times than not.

I am STILL getting way more marties on the pally than on Thom. It is really wild. he got 3 marties and two set pieces in two hours at swoops today. Then an hour later, got a soul seeker from the spiders

I Think The Martie Drop On Miasma Definitly Increassed I Use To Go There 3 Hours Late At Night And Get A Couple Of Armor Pieces And Marities ,now 2 In A Hour If Im Lucky..still Good To Karma Farm And Honor Farm Though
