Library Quest

Can anyone help me on this quest? I found Petrus, but I was only able to get one sac from the speckled scorpions. I killed at least 100 speckled scorpions and only got one sac. Let alone, I was getting attacked by wyrens, efreet (paragon), stone gargoyle (paragon), etc.

I haven't played uo much and it seemed like it changed on me a whole lot. I have a tank mage, but it seems useless now...as to what she used to be. I'm on the Baja shard, so if anyone can help me get through this quest, I would appreciate it very much. Not many people like to help out these days. All they want to do is to go hunt in the dungeons or go to Doom.

Wish I could get on and lend a hand...

If its any help, dropping a couple EVs and letting them take the damage ansd keeping moving, attacking, and searching the scorpions bodies is a good start.

You did see the time limit that you have for collecting them and getting them back, correct? Cant remember what the limit was, but there was one.

Took me 3-4 tries to get it done right with my Paladin, so dont fret and keep trying.

EV's and the Invis spell set to a quick macro should help you out a bit.

I've tried this quest three times and still having a hard time. I had a rotting corpse (paragon) chasing me and an imp (paragon) that kept on dispelling my EVs. Yes, I do see the timer. One good thing about the timer is that it takes its time to go down, which is good. Good enough, if I can get the 5 sacs that I need. I just tried doing the quest again and all I was running into was paragons. AARRGGGHHHH!

Yes, I finally got it. After the 4th try. Even though I got killed two times cuz there was an efreet waiting at the healers. But thank you for everyone who gave me tips to help me through this.

My suggestion is to have an ivis spell set to cast as you run by the rotting corpse area just incase a para is there. that way you can safely transet by them to get to teh scorps.

Then use the EVS and Invis to take out as many scorps as you can. Keep casting and moving back from teh Imp Paras so they can get killed by the EVs. Otherwise keep trying and eventually you will get enough sacs to complete teh quest.
