KR Treasure Maps

I have a number of Treasue Maps which, when decoded, tell me nothing.

Someone in-game said there is a problem with Treasue Maps in KR. Is this the case, and if so is anyone aware of an iminent fix?

This is a known issue. It makes me sad. Unfortunately, nothing has been said about when it might be fixed.

Boo. How am I supposed to stick with KR if they can't make it work at a basic level?

I've only ever played KR (Newbie) and this is very disappointing.

Boo to 2D with its itty-bitty toons and scripting problems. =P

I still use it to tend plants. The KR plant gump is better, in that you only need to hit a plant with water once, even if it's super dry. However, I need the 2D visual cue to tell me if I should hit a plant with GCure or CHeal.

You do realise the main scripting program has allready been adapted to work on UOKR, right?

Hmm, I see from the updates that they claim to have fixed Treasure Maps on KR. Anyone tried it yet?

Well I patched up KR in my comp and was able to decode all my maps. Not ready to hunt in KR though so I'm switching to 2d to get them.

This is the first time I tried to look at maps in KR, and i think it looks a little small. I missed the pin in the first map I looked at, it was so small and blended in the map. They need to make it bigger and highlight it more.

Treasure Maps Fixed in KR

Well, after todays verrrry large 813Meg KR patach the treasure maps are now readable. I grabbed a L1 just to give it a try and found the location with great ease. The only issue I had was I needed to turn on the circle of trans to see the chest once it was up. I'm not sure if that was a location specific issue or an overall issue. But we have made a giant leap for our T-hunters in KR.

and Basara

in both clients, you got to look at the T-map, and figure out where it is, based on its landmarks. From there, it's a matter of finding the right spot.

UO Automap has a file for 2D that shows the map spots in that program. Some people have also created a program that will turn those points (or input latitude & longitude) into map points for the KR map. Use of either makes T-hunting a little easier, but are purely optional.
