hello i have recently downloaded the 8th age and ready to re-activate my account. i was wondering if kingdom reborn is compatible with 240 GHz 512mb of raam and over 40gb hard drive. what are your views on it?

Should run "ok"

I think the official requirements are

CPU 1 GHz
Memory 512MB
Graphics GeForce 3
Empty capacity of hard disk 2 GB

Although I can't find it anywhere on uo's site, the ones listed above, apparently come from the japanese uo site

Spec wise you should be able to run KR. There seems to be problems with different operating systems, certain processors, drivers and a few other misc problems. So you "may" not be able to play it after downloading it. They say it's not in beta any more. I treat it like it is

I hate to disagree but I think you will have problems with that spec.

In my opionion you wont be able to run KR and you may even have probs running 2D.

What version of windows are you running? Not that makes any difference but on a system running at 240GHz I doubt if you could run the original version of Doom in full mode.

Hope you prove me wrong.

solidchrome.. I'm pretty sure he meant 2.40ghz.. what you are thinking is 240mhz... which wouldn't run the initial release of doom.

If thats what he meant then he may have a good chance of running UO- but I hope he/she would run the 2D client.

Not to labour the point..(lol)..but he/she would be able to run the original version of Doom, no problem, on a pentium 240mhz. I ran the original Doom on a 386 but had to upgrade to a 486 to get a bigger screen size.No options for better graphics in those days..just a bigger screen

im running it off windows xp and it is 2.41GHz. 2D works because i originally tried this game quite a while ago but not since kr has been introduced. it looks good so i wanted to try it out. what are your views on it or do you still run 2d?

I love KR, the new graphics are really good. The only problem with it are the bugs and the occassional crashes but hopefully those problems will be ironed out in time.

Kr Is Coming Real Close To Being Playable In My Opinion
