I have a new keg vendor and am having trouble figuring out how best to place and keep track of the kegs in the vendor's backpack. I used to put them in boxes, but now, with the container weight limit and the fact that filled kegs weigh a whopping 100 stones now, I can no longer put more than 2 per box. Pththt...

Anyone have any ideas? If I stack them up, I will have to move them every time to count them (to see if any sold) and that would be a real pain.

what about using the divided pack feature of KR to see how many u still have on vendor?

You can only put 2 kegs per box? I've seen vendors with tons of kegs in multiple bags in a vendor.

Oh and we've never bothered counting how much is left in our vendor. We usually just go by the gold the vendor is holding. And then refill when the vendor is empty.

Hmm... maybe some containers have weight limits and others don't I wanted to put them in those small boxes as I used to do but I can't.

And I don't think my 'puter can handle KR. :[

Added: I just looked at other containers but they all have a 400 stone limit, so I guess 4 per container is all I can do. :[

Do you sell enough kegs in a day to keep that many on the vendor?

I used to have a keg vendor in the old days selling 50-75 kegs/day. It was nuts!

I had a bulk order already the other day for 130 kegs and 80 pieces if furniture. yikes

Added: My experience is that if your prices are good and you stay stocked, you can have a really successful business with kegs. Lotta work though...

Hmm I'm gonna have to check the other vendor I've seen to see how his vendors hold the kegs.

WOW 50-75 potion kegs a day is a lot. Guess it would be worth it then

any room for extra vendors? place one for each of the most sold (like greater poison) .. another way could be to have color coded bags lined up (example - 4 green bags for GP with 4 "marked" kegs in each giving you 16 GP kegs)

I think once we 'mark' the type of keg it is, that is when it becomes 100 stones ... if unmarked it is like 20 stones (not sure if that has changed though) but then it becomes a matter of trust since the keg will say something like a keg of green liquid and not that it is GP ...

They have changed the weight now Queen Mum. If you have some older kegs. They can still have the 20 stone weight. Once you use it. It will go to the correct weight. All kegs filled now weigh in at 100 when full.

Dont know if its been changed or not but vendors used to work similiar to a secured item in house, you could put bag or box or whatever in vendor pack and then fill it up with no weight limit same as putting a bag in a secured chest without worrying about the weight limit listed on container.
