Items in house disappearing

Ive lost a chest in my new house with tonnes of stuff in it. The chest was there this morning but now its gone. The house is marked private and Im 99% sure it was locked down. Is there something else I should be doing?

That covers it. What usually happens, we forget to "lock" it down

.

One suggestion I would recommend. I always try to pick up what ever I just locked down. That way I'm sure it is locked down.

Also try avoid rearranging lockdowns/secures close to server maintainence times, or when there are shard crashing issues with possibly reverts causing you to lose items that you thought were locked down. I never do house building or moving around new publishes either. If there was any server down times and you had been rearranging your goods, get back in as soon as possible to confirm things are secured/locked down.

Try pressing the ctrl & shift buttons at the same time and see if it listed as being there. Sometimes things get lost and I can retrieve it that way. Also could try going into custom mode and see if it pops out under the house sign. Things not locked down such as chests will pop out of house when going into customize mode.

Otherwise ... sorry for your loss .. did the same thing myself the other day. Forgot to secure a container of Tailsmen ... (125 of em) ... oh well things can be replaced

Have you looked in your moving crate? (Where you select Relocate Moving Crate on the house menu) Just a thought.

Have you recustomized the house sence you swore you locked it down? As http://www.uoforums.com/members/fayte_knightmare/ sujested, it might then be in your moving crate.
Also, how much avalible storage do you have at your house. You might have typed 'i wish to lock this down' and didn't have enough storage to make it happen and didn't notice the bark that you do not have the room.

well i just lost 3 chests and a soulstone from my house over the day, and yes they were locked down, im not about to put a SS down with out triple checking it. what a way to come back to a game...this is really leaving a bad taste in my mouth
