Item properties

Yet another question!

Are the item properties of "spell channeling" and "use best weapon skill" mutually exclusive?

Re: Item properties

I don't think I quite understand the question. Are you asking if you can have both properties on a weapon at once?

Re: Item properties

Yes, I can't find any items with both. I suppose it makes perfect sense not to allow both on one weapon though. No one would bother with learning a weapon skill when you could just use magery.

Re: Item properties

To be honest I couldn't have answered that off the top of my head, but I just took a quick look on searchuo.com and there do infact seem to be weapons with both properties on them.

Edit: Oh I take it you ment the "Mage Weapon" property instead. Well the thing about mage weapons are that most take off a good amount of mage skill while you use them (usually 20+), and as far as I know you have to have actual weapon skill to use the weapon's special moves.

Re: Item properties

A weapon may have both properties (spell channeling and UBWS). Remember if it is spell channeling it will have -1 FC automatically. If you get the FC property too, it will be just show spell channeling.
