Inactive Account and House Decay

If I didn't have the time to play two accounts right now and wanted to cancel one of them, how long would I have before my house on that account would begin to decay?

Thanks.

Re: Inactive Account and House Decay

According to the EA/UO rules, 30 days after the account was cancelled. However, in practice, it seems they did 30 days, got rid of a lot of properties, and then returned it to 90 days. I will not say you have 90 days but I will say that I have gone 91 days before one of the properties on one of my own accounts went to even slightly worn. Then, of course, I reactivate the account and the house is safe.

Re: Inactive Account and House Decay

I had 5 accounts that I let sit inactive for 6 weeks. When I came back, 2 of my houses had decayed (the 4 year old account and the 8 year old account) and two houses were still standing (both 9 year old accounts and the 5 year old account). In my experience, it wasn't consistent. I would have thought the youngest accounts would decay first, but that wasn't true in my case. I'm not sure what the formula is
