IDOC questions

Is there a set time/hour that an IDOC will finish decaying, or is it totally random?

It is not random, on the contrary - it is quite possible to predict down to the minute when a house will fall.

Check out the IDOC thread on the Europa Stratics boards. It`s a compilation of tricks and tips from a variety of IDOC hunters across all shards. The Homes and Castles forum on Stratics also have the same info.

I'd go with what Sarsmi wrote about the timing
After the point where it goes idoc you have 6 hours and 52 minutes, not including server down time.

I must admit I'm a bit rusty with the idoc'ing ........
but anyways, for the time that I did most of my idoc hunting the houses would turn IDOC around 2 am and fall after 9 am. Seemed like most houses would fall around the same time. Of course you have the exception of OSI owned houses.

ooh one more thing
the link from Rascal is from the UO website. Alot of the data is "good", but that timer 12 - 24 hours is way off for the IDOC stage.
