Im atthe part in the quest where you get the grey cloak and a brass ring and i think im suppost to give the ring to marabell the waitress in brit tram but she wont take it, all she says is she has a hammer she cant use and she will trade it for the right item. Anyone know if im giving the ring to the wrong person. I went to a few other of the quest npc's and they tell you what item they want i dont know why marabell doesn't. Plz post any info will help.

There are 7 NPC's involved in the step you are at.

1 each in Brit/Minoc/and Skara Brae (Tram & Fel) = 6

Last in Haven.

Each of the NPC's want a specific item and will trade you for the one you have. That means you may visit some several times before you make everyone happy

Make a note of each NPC's request, and what clues they announce when they talk to you. As you deliver each item to an NPC, cross him/her off of your list, it seems a bit difficult at first but soon gets easier.

ya i figured out that each time u do the quest it changes and the same person doesn't take the same item. thx for posting
