I heard a rumor (not quite recently) from a temporary* friend that houses on test shards do not have any effect on the total for your account, but am not sure and do not want to put my current houses in danger. Is this true?

* I met him on a test shard

You heard right ... Test center housing does not affect your regular shard house ...
that is one reason why they want us to go place a 'house' and test things on test center

Any houses placed on the Test Shard,do not affect your 'live account'.

From what I have seen, it is very random ... it can go months ... weeks ... days ... without a clearing
