I need some help! I have a unique house, but need to kill and account. So i am trying to save this one of a kind building.

Can't you transfer to another one of your accounts?

... what Tukaram said. If you have another account, trade the house to that account then quit your original account.

I wonder, though, if grandfathered houses like that can be traded?

I think they can be traded, but I'm pretty sure they lose grandfathered status if traded. And if you place another house these days, if you have grandfathered houses, they will be condemned.

When I had a similar problem I gave the house to my Mom. At the time she had an account that did not have any houses on it so she held on to the house until I was ready to take it back on a new account. If you have a buddy or a friend that also has UO and has no houses on there account they can hold your house for you until you are ready to take it back on your new account. well, my problem is that I have my old account, which has like four houses including this one, and i wanted to keep that account, something like 78 months old.

I created a new account for the luna expasion, and got a great property in the Baja Shard, called Peppins Brew Pub, it's out the left hand side of the bank, next to the archway leading out of town.

If I consolidate all my multiple GM's to one account, i'll need the storage of that big place. Which means a transfer to my old account, and loss of all my other houses. I'm not really worried about the others, they are nothing special, just a little cabin here and there, but that unique house, it's kinda special, and i'd hate to see a "historical" house go down.

Anyone have a spare account i can trade it to?

Also, if i recieve a house and all of my others condem... will the items in them go to a moving crate, or do i need to cart off all of those thousands of locked down boards, skins etc..... i'd give thos up to a new owner if thy can keep the house? I just dont know how to trade / sell / barter anythign like this.

When you go to cats at the bank and try to say...."house for sale" everyone basiclly ignores you..... for hours.......

Anything left in a house will fall to the ground. So if you want to keep it. Move it to your new house.

It can be tough to get trammel peeps to fel. Might try posting the shard/facet/location on this forum and also stratics. Might get more interest. I would recommend posting it in the shard specific forums. Sorry I don't have a spare account to hold it for you .

If i transfer the house, lets say to a new account. will the contents go to a moving crate in the old account, or do they stay in the house.... as is. Like everything in place.

Or would a transfer give the new owner a "clean house" nonoe of the previous owners stuff......
