Golem training

Can you just start from a low level or do you have to build up your skill to a certain point before you see gains? I'm at 30 with my newb macer, and I've been smacking a golem around for a while and no gains.

Re: Golem training

It is 'possible' although very unlikely to get gains from a GM one at this level. It would be VERY slow and VERY expensive if you did. I did however run across something interesting while my brothers account was training tinkering: For the most part, if the level of the tinker ='s the level of your archery, you get GREAT gains off that Golem! I used this technique from 50 to 120 (once I got to 100 I noticed the GM golem was gaining skill while I hit it so it worked out well :p)

Re: Golem training

Yea it's how gains are tied to the original tinker's skill when creating the golem, heh

Answer: If you weren't asked for your opinion then keep a lid on it.
But if asked, be tactful as possible but be honest.
