Heres one thats been bugging me:

Is there a way to resize the 2d gameplay window bigger than 800x600? (I run UO in a window) I know in 3d you an just click the little blue button and drag it to your hearts desire... but I like 2d so much more.

You see, my laptop runs a native resolution of 1920x1200 pixels, and as you can gather, a window that is 800x600 in that is, erm, rather small...

I've tried searching for this and have not come up with anything, so I figure I'd ask!

You have looked in your options? I thought there was a way to make it bigger in there. I know there is even a macor u can hit to make it bigger cause I accidently did it but I dont remember the macro.

Not when he's playing at a high res like that.
If you don't use ICQ or UOA you can always use the fullscreen version though.

I know there is a thing under options you can use to change the actual game screen size, I have done it. That is without going to full screen either. I would have to get into the game and check. I think it is under the little eye looking option? Maybe someone can check before I get a chance and see.

What screen res are you using Adri?
Because while you can change it, at a high resolution the gameplay window is still really small.

I have to use a higher one, my eyes aren't that great lol. Something like that and I would be dead before I even knew something was coming up to hit me.

the only resolution options are 640x480 and 800x600 for gameplay window size and fullscreen version (i think those #s are right).

does UOA have a force game window size option

I think Luis is right...the highest option you can actually choose when you are in windowed in 2D is 800x600....

It's a complete pain...that's always been one of my pet peeves with 2D

If you change the resolution of your computer screen, like change the computer to 1200Xwhat ever the small your desktop icons are the bigger small your gameplay screen, then if you make it so your icons are big then your screen will get bigger, due to the game play window being one size it has to change with your computer screen size...i hope that helps

hes talking about fullscreen... when the game is fullscreen, its forced to automatically fit the entire screen.

what you forget, kryptic, is that even though the game will fill the screen, itll still be the same resolution, just "zoomed in". Its not a literal zoom, of course, but youll just have the same 800x600 resolution, just on a bigger screen (which will give you bigger characters, bigger houses... bigger graphics altogether).
