Focus with necro/mage

Is having the Focus skill a good thing to have for a necromancer mage character?

I honestly think there is absolutely never EVER a good reason to put focus on any character. Most templates are pretty crowded and dont have the room for it. Especially a necro/mage.

Only times I ever used Focus were with a character I used for training up other skills (to be stoned off and used on a different character).

ok, yah I can see that as a viable use for focus. On a training character. Like when training a mage or necro or spellweaver, any mana regen is helpful. But never use it in the field, there are far more valuable skills out there than that one...
