Re: Ferret Question
Yes, they still spawn. Occasionally the timer acts up and they don't spawn right away, and it's also possible for them to be lured to other parts of the dungeon, thus preventing any new ones from spawning. Just be patient and keep returning to the dungeon and you'll eventually get some.

Re: Ferret Question
Thanks for the input! I have two of the little buggers now . Just had to wait awhile longer, they seem to have a long respawn time.

Re: Ferret Question
I thought the ferrets were those things trapped in a crystal or am I wrong? May I ask why you are wanting a ferret? Or 2 infact, I tried to get a dog and cat into my house and a few birds, but they seem to vanish after a while not sure why.

Re: Ferret Question
Quote:
1. Each player has 5 pet control slots. Pets may take up anywhere from 1-4 slots, depending on how powerful they are. Small pets like cats and dogs take up one slot, large pets like Cu Sidhes take up 4. 2. Unless it is a mount you are riding, pets need to be stabled when you log out. There is an auto-stable feature in the game, but it should not be relied on to preserve your beloved pets from disappearing. If in doubt, stable the pet. 3. Stable slots work slightly different than pet control slots. Stables consider each pet as an individual slot. Players that are not Animal Tamers only have two stable slots, unfortunately. By staying mounted on his primary pet, though, the non-Tamer can juggle his stable slots so that he can own three pets permanently. 4. Pets have loyalty to their owners, which can raise or drop according to how well the pet is treated. To check your pet's loyalty, use the Animal Lore skill. If you're Human, the invisible 20 points "jack of all trades" human racial bonus will be enough to do this, although you'll fail a few times while trying. Any pet loyalty message other than "Your pet is wonderfully happy" should be remedied by feeding the pet. 5. Pets can be killed. If they are not bonded to you, they will die and be gone forever. To bond a pet, feed it, stable it for 7 days real time, take it out of the stable and feed it again. It will bond to you, and if killed will become a ghost that can be resurrected by players with the Veterinary skill. These are the basics. More info can be found on the other websites. ![]()

Re: Ferret Question
Yes I knew that already - thanks, but what I meant in what I said was that, I had got a cat, dog and some birds and put them all in my house and released them, they dissapeared about a day after though

Re: Ferret Question
Creatures inside houses disappear if they're not interacted with within a set time.

Re: Ferret Question
Problem is that if you acquire two of them and you aren't an animal tamer, you have no stable slots left for your mounts.
