I just GM'd Meditation, and now, everytime I actively meditate, my strenth (the only stat I have set to increase) increases by 1. I just gained 5 strength points in 5 minutes!

Is this just some side benefit of GMing Meditation?

lol, probably a bug generated by the fix they put in for people not gaining stats from some skills.

Come to think of it I maxed STR last night and all I was doing was casting EV's at liches.

That's what I was thinking.

It is a new feature. They implemented a change so that vet characters (defined as a character who has 700 skill points, and at least one at gm) will gain on EVERY successful skill check, as long as the skill is up and you have stat room. since Med raises int and str, and you have int locked, all your gains are str.

Oh ok...well that makes some sense...except that my skill is only at 670 total so far, so maybe the requirements for that are a little less high than what you're saying.

Don't know if this helps but I'm still below 700 and now that I think about it I gained from 77-95 strength just after I finished the spellweaving quest and trained up to 30ish. That's a big gain for the hour maybe that I spent training it.

Waving your arms around to cast spells must be like a virtual workout, so..it'd make sense to gain str!
