I've seen lots of items since I returned to the game that are odd colors. Some I suppose are from new resources like the new woods but others are mysterious. Can someone enlighten me?

most neon colors come from the base damage.. 100% fire, give neon orange.. and so on

It's not all weapons though.

well.. some items have been bugged or spawned into l33t colors I suppose.

at one time they had dyes which were rewarded through the treasures of tokonyo (sp?) event which could dye a multitude of items! pretty rare now and expensive

There were 10 different colors awarded. I don't know all of them off the top of my head, but some of them were Luna White, Berserker Red, Nox Green, Shadow Dancer Black, and Invulnerability Blue. These came in jars with 50 uses, and were only useable on artifacts, minor artifacts, and enhanced weapons and armor. Jewelry (short of arty jewelry) couldn't be enhanced, nor could unenhanced armor or weaponry.

That must be it. Oh well, I guess I missed out. :[

Alot of people still sell these dyes, but you must be willing to pay from 4-7m for a full dye. I missed out on the event where you could get them so I have bought one purple tokuno dye, just for deco hehe.
