Carpentry items no longer say "Crafted By..."

Hello! I've been playing UO for about 1.5 years and am totally addicted. However, something weird has happened and I don't know what's going on.

My character is a GM Carpenter and was able to mark all the items she made to say "Crafted By....". She recently GM'ed Mining, and now when she makes carpentry items they are no longer marked with her name. Is it because she GM'ed another skill? Does that one take over ? I am wondering this because my paperdoll now says "Grandmaster Miner" instead of "Grandmaster Carpenter". Is there a way to change it back so all her carpentry items are marked? I have checked and double checked the 'mark' and 'do not mark' features and everything is correct.

All items made by my capenter still get marked. She's also GM in 3 other skills, so I don't think that's it. I don't think it's got anything to do with the title displayed either, coz mine says GM Chef

Hmmm, you didnt accidentaly drop a point in Carp did you? If youve been gaining in other skills and Carp happened to be set to down instead of lock....it coulda been real bad.

Not sure what else could be causing the problem...

Few causes for this:
1) The item is not exceptional. You need to make exceptional items to mark the items.
2) On your carpentry menu, you have set it to NOT mark items(its on the bottom right side near the make last option)
3) See Kettle's post.

The UOAssist option is just for when the gump appears asking to mark the item. Since long ago you got the gump everytime and didn't have the option in the crafting menu to turn it on off or prompt.

I figured it out! I had the Carpentry skilled locked at 100, but Mining was set to Up at 100. I just switched the two and locked Mining and turned Carpentry back up. Now everything is working fine! All of my exceptional items are now marked with my name again. Thanks for all your help anyways...

Thats very very weird.
I know that will change your title to GM Carpentry, but thats WEIRD!

Whether your name shows your GM skill or not shouldn't matter to the marking....... hmmmm Anyone have any more thoughts on this one?

Perhaps it because he was just a 1x craft skill. And 1x non craft, thats my thinking....
