Capping

Im wondering what the caps are for DCI, HCI, and DI... i know they are diffrent between PvM and PvP... im mostly interested in the PvM but it woudl bhe helpful to know the PvP as well... heeres what i think i know so far...

HCI:
PvP: 45
PvM: ?

DCI:
PvP: ?
PvM: ?

DI:
PvP: 25
PvM: 100


Help filling in the question marks and/or correcting that which is wrong woudl be most appreciated. Thanks!

Im pretty sure that HCI and DCI are always capped at 45% for everything.

I remember there being a PvP cap on damage increase, but I Thought it was overall, not the actual DI property you find on jewels and weapons. Someone else will have to field that one...

yea, im referring to overall caps.. not caps on 1 specific item

what is the combined possible defense chance increase when stacked between skills and items. if items get you to 45% defence chance what would parry and bushido do for a two handed weapon user. is there a higher cap? or is the items stacked with the skillpoints in parry and bushido. or are they separate entities what where you get checked for your items' defense chance and then checked for your skills' ability to parry.

i guess my overall question is if your items just happen to give you a 45% defence chance is there any point to having full blown parry and bushido?

from what i understand, parry/wrestle/weapion skills contribute to your base defense chance... then you can stack the (appaerntly 45%) defense chance increase on top of that.

Here are caps for the properties that have them:

Resists: 70 in each
Lower Ammo Cost Max: 50%
Hit Chance Increase 45%
Defense Chance Increase 45%
Swing Speed Increase 60%
Lower Mana Cost 40%
Damage Increase 100%
Luck 10,000 (this is theoretical - it's not actually reachable with currently available items)
Mana Regeneration 18
Hp Regeneration 18
Stamina Regeneration 24

(If there are caps that we missed, or ones you want to be 100% sure don't have caps, let me know.)

Would be nice for them to have listed out if they were "hard" caps or "soft" caps. Hard being no matter how much you pile on, there is o benefit after a certain point, like DCI. Soft being if you got together all the best items in the game that have that property on them, this is what youd have. Lucks soft cap is like 1490 or something...

The Damage Increase that is listed in that blurb is the DI preoperty taht you can find on jewels, weps, Primer on Arms, etc. I think the one 87 is referring to would be everything piled together, like Tactics, Anat, DI, etc.

I believe these are all the hard caps because he says that luck is 10,000 even though u can't reach that with available items.

Soft caps, I don't know. I do know however that my hubby built a suit with like 40 HP regen. But it still didn't count for all 40 because it was capped.

Ahhh, I see.

But then would come the question is does that take into account the Human HPR bonus? Or Horrific Beast Forms?

Or Lich Form to MR?

I think these caps are it. It doesn't matter what form you're in or what race you are, that these caps are the hard caps.

The only exception to these that I know of is that elves actually can go to 75 energy resist, if they have the proper equipment to put them there.
