i have been working on a idoc character for uo what can i say im bored sometimes ..anyway i have tracking to 79.8 and hiding to 88.7 now it seems im stuck on both any suggestions

I GM'd Hiding on my thief within a few days of starting stealth.

oh did i forget to mention my stealth is also not moving and it is also 67.3

good morning For hiding I like to macro it to my space bar. So everytime i chat i also practice hiding. For stealth, for gains, you want to fail about 50% of the time. So I'd suggest changing your armor to something heavier. Take off those gloves and put on platemail gauntlets, if that dosen't work, try adding platemail or chainmail leggings or sleeves.

Here is a good link that can help you through stealth. Its a bit outdated with talking about 8x8 but the concept of what to wear at what skill is still good

Shadow Dancer Leggings
Burglar's bandana

Automatic +30 to stealth, you should never need to worry about it again with any sort of +stealth ring. Also, stop bothering with hiding - 89 is plenty for an IDOC character.

I don't use tracking, so no idea - sorry. Perhaps tie it to your spacebar as well? If I recall, you don't need to target it...

For tracking I used to run a similar macro with UOA. Just start recording a macro and click on tracking then select the type of quarry. Keep recording the macro until you get sick of doing it or the UOA buffer fills ~ I don't remember the amount of m.s. you have to wait in between this skill. But I think it's a really short wait. Maybe like 6 seconds. I'll post it when I get home and log on my idoc guy.

Then just constantly run the macro when your runnin' around. The first time the tracking menu pops up just move it off your screen, don't close it. Otherwise it'll pop-up on ya everytime the skill is chosen.

What the heck does tracking do that is useful, and what is an IDOC character?

I have tracking on my fel lumberjack/miner. Very useful! Since I have the macro essentially running all time when I'm running around, I can tell if someone is stealthing up on me to call his/her buddies to gank me.

Tracking means you can find those nasty pks who are about to wtfpwn you.

IDOC is "In Danger of Collapse" - a house about to fall [usually in Felucca] and is full of rare and lovely l337 items and arties hence peeps try and grab as much stuff as they can and usually there is a mass fight over stuff
