Blaze of Death

A while ago some very kind soul (maybe they're on this forum) gave me a really nasty halberd type weapon named "Blaze of Death".

I can't find it listed anywhere (stratics, etc) and I'm curious if it's got any 'lore' or history behind it.

5k is a fair price that you'll often see it sold at. I've seen it as low as 500gp. It looks impressive, but is very slow and a two-handed weapon, and the area damage tends to be a disadvantage in many cases.

It's usable for lesser spawns, but only lesser spawns.

The WW + Hit Area effect work well when surrounded by stuff that can't really harm you. But it's too slow for anything more, atleast for me.

I like to use it in the first tier of spawns. I usually use a soulseeker for most, but at the undead spawn, it works good.

It was great when Britain was being invaded, I could take out all the lesser spawn with it then work my way to the generals and take them on with my main weapon.

Yeah, it's really slow, but it's been good for getting books off of Ettins and Earth Elementals in Despise.

At least for one of my character it's good, who isn't anything uber...
