I want to make my first bard.
He will mainly be used for Doom and sometimes Mel.
I have a couple templates in mind and was hoping someone more experienced could lend some advice.

Temp1:
120 Music
120 Prov
115 Archery
115 Tactics
100 SW (or Resist)
80 Chiv
50 Med

Temp2:
120 Music
120 Prov
115 Peace
115 Mage
110 Disco (or SW)
100 EI
20 Med (maybe split the EI/Med differently)

Temp3: (the mixer lol)
120 Music
120 Prov
115 Mage
115 Archery
100 Tactics
100 SW (or Resist)
30 Med

Also please recommend str/dex/int distribution, and whether this char should be human or elf

Note: The exact skill points I am flexible with. Mage and Archery would be 120, but I just can't afford them now.
A big decision I obviously have to make is whether I want Spellweaving or Resist. The biggest thing I don't like about the 3rd template is that i find it very difficult to find a good spell channeling bow. For the non-magery template I would probably use a night reaper mostly, and carry invis pots to get the mobs off of me.

Here is a thought, based on experience doing doom, mel and dreadhorn.
120 music
120 provo
120 disco
120 mage
120 med
120 eval

Or substitute eval for spellweaving.
Disco is essential for the bosses and Darkfather. If you have soulstones, swap out provo for spellweaving for solo ML bosses (none of em have anything to provoke). SW for dryad allure (artic ogre lords are awesome at Dread Horn), WOD, and all the other juicy spells.
