Archery question

If I use double strike with a repeating crossbow will both shots have a chance to cause a gain in skill? Or does it only count as a single attack? My skill is at 96.2, so Im looking for any edge I can get on gains.

And one other thing while Im busy pondering things, have they fixed the brazier lockdown bug yet?

No brazier lockdown fix yet.

I do not think it counts are two attacks, although not 100% certain.

As far as getting gains in archery, It been sometime since I gm archery but,

Is a repeating crossbow the fastest one? If not find the bow weapon which is the fastest and go shoot stone harpies.

Yup Im using a repeater and plinking Ogre Lords, seems to work well enough.

I found a 100% poison repeating xbow and used that on golems. It went quite quickly doing so, and the only cost was bolts, which I had made.
