I'm kind of bummed because I bonded what I thought to be a really nice cu sidhe the other day. Its jet black and has really nice resists, and I was looking forward to training it. But then someone told me its trash and to get rid of it because it only has 506 hit points. Can someone tell me what I should do? Its going to be really hard to find this color again just for an extra 80-100 hits, I dont know if i should start training it or not =/

Do not get rid of it, the color is rare! Who cares what he said. If you like the resist and color keep it and have fun training it!

yeah thats what i said, all of its resists are over 50 except fire which is 46. I like the color alot and I figure once I get it fully trained, the hits shouldnt matter as much as the skills and resists.

I would keep it. The resists may compensate for the HP's. Besides if YOU like it what difference does it make what someone else thinks? I still hunt with dragon or WW. I have had them to long not to keep and use them.

I use my rare color cu's for show when I am in town or shopping. I even use them when hunting easier mobs. I do have a really nice plain color cu that I use for peerless runs.

Agreed, I normally use my beetle when I do peerless runs ect. The only spawn I use my dog on is blood elementals, swoops and the like. I suppose I could take this one wherever I wanted though as long as I heal it, I really don't see the huge deal with the low hits. Every pet I use im always healing and people are x-healing, (if mine is even the one being dealt damage, half the time its not) so I ignored the guy who told me to leave it at the wayside.

Keep that puppy. I use my white, red and black all the time at mel, dh etc. I work my pup well, normally he is 5XGM till I get laggy and he dies

Vepl is correct. Resists matter more than total HP anytime. Especially that fire resists!!! that is 20ish more than the average CU, which means you take @ 20 pt's less damage per hit. At 5 hits, you have overcome the 100 hp difference. At 50 hits, their pet has died several times.

I'd say stick with the color.

My main Cu only has 502 hp...AND he is plain color! I have a grey one that has around 596 hp but his resists are in the toilet where the main has nice resists...
