Re: Anyone know how to calculate swing speed?

It's pretty simple now.

Look at the weapon, it'll show how fast it swings, for every 10% SSI, knock off .25 seconds.

Then for every 20 (need confirmation on 20, could be 30) Stamina you have, knock off another .25 seconds.

Re: Anyone know how to calculate swing speed?

I thought Bo posted some where awhile back that if your ssi was in between 1-30 take .25 sec off and between 31-60 take another .25 sec off.

*searches for post*

Re: Anyone know how to calculate swing speed?

That would mean that there is no difference between 10 SSI and 30?? Seems a bit odd...

I think that the shrouded secrecy of the math is what I hate the most about UO.

Re: Anyone know how to calculate swing speed?

no, there is no difference between 1 and 30. it goes like this
1-30ssi .25s
31-60ssi another .25s

every 30 stam is .25s

now if you have a weapon with say a 4s swing it goes like this
weapon 4s.
150stam = 1.5s, so weapon is now 2.5s
add in 1-30ssi = .25s
now total speed is 2.25s. Which is supposed to mean 1 swing ever 2.25s

but if you get hit, your stam lowers and kinda messes with your ssi, so make sure to divine fury or drink refresh pots to get the stam back.
hope that was clear. its early in the morning and I havent had UO in 5 months!!!!!!!!
