How come when I log in, with my one character it states I have 34.0 resisting spells. But when I click on the "show real" it states I have 60.0 resisting spells?

What causes this differential?

I'm confused about what the true level of this skill is.

Do you happen to have a Protection spell enabled? I believe Protection reduces your Resist spells while it is in effect. Maybe this is the problem?

Indeed, that's protection spell. It also reduces your physical resists.

Get some mage to party you and cast Arch Protection on you. You'll be back to normal.

Though... if I was you, I'd take the opportunity to get 6-7 spellbinders after me while my resist spell is low, so it raises faster

I casted Arch Protection on myself and it fixed it.

Maybe its better to go back to the lower resist, to get better gains in resist.

Anyways now I know how I can go back and forth.
