By now you all know what a family nerd I am. I watch this every day, getting the opputunity to see things with my grandson I never had the time or knowledge to look for with my own kids. Perhaps that is the reward for being a grandparent. A second chance to see little one's grow.

My daughter teaches in the Bronx, NY. Needless to say supplies are hard to come buy. She's done a great job using Donors Choice website to help fund the needs of her students. If you can find a way to help by sending, even $5, it really does help.

Donor's Choice is a great organization that helps teachers get funding for classroom needs. Basically how it works is if the teacher can get half of the cost funded, the foundation will pick up the other half.

We've been getting up everyday at 6am (slightly later than normal for me) and walking the beach. At 10 am Trish has been hitting the pool aerobics class. I just have my headphones on, read and try not to get too much sun
