I am going to start an advanced character. then I am going to do spellweaving on that charater. Does anyone know if any paticular template goes along with spell weaving?

I'd be interested in hearing people ideas as well for this one....my hubby wants to put spellweaving on his char too.

We were thinking on his Mage. He was putting up Focus and Meditation, but thinking of dropping focus for Spellweaving.

Does it need any secondary skills, does anyone know? I assume meditation...but is that it?

On beta I was using a Mage/Stealther/Arcanist (spellweaving). Personally if I decide to use spellweaving it will be on a mage char, but that's just my personal chioce from what I played with on beta. I know others were using spellweaving with archers and other templates so really its up to you. The spellweaving spells do take up quite a bit of mana though so med is really handy but not totally needed if you don't plan on casting a bunch of other spells like chiv, magery or necro spells.

I am placing spellweaving on Threnody. I've not trained it yet, but all the folk I have talked to say its good with a mage or mage hybrid.

I am putting it on my tamer cause im dropping resist and lowering med for it.

Being able to run through dungeons or self rezzing with a pet is ideal for me.

Where do i get the books and scrolls of Spellweaving?

and how do i get diff types of fishes?

The book u get off quest and I think a couple of spells come with it. Other scrolls come as loot on monsters in the new dungeions
