The map fragment quest I believe you have to go to the minotaur dungeon in Malas..the one on the island..The Labyrinth. That's what someone told me when I had the quest anyway..

The dreadhorn is a peerless and can't be done alone. I'm not sure how large of a group you need, but you would need at few players at least. Peerless just means that you and your group are the only ones in the area and allowed to attack the boss. Keeps people from stealing your kill, etc

Parrots are loot..some people also say you can get them from quests. I don't know much else about them...

And I know nothing of ferrets, except that I want one!

We got the parrot last night off Lady Melisande. She's the necro one right? From the Blighted Grove. The ferrets I see everytime we go to the Prism of Light dungeon, at the end in the healer area.

I know that for a fact as our guild went to minotaur place thinking that is where we get the map fragment and we got slaughtered. so the next day I searched on uostuff.com it givesall that info.

hovering wisp is an anchemy item all i know is to make is need 4 captured essenses .

The quest for the minotaur knowlege only requires you to go into the Minotaur dungeon once, to gather artifacts. the artifacts are green vases and cauldrons. They spawn on the ground so you don't have kill anything for it if you are quick or have steath.
The map fragments you get off of the red healers "Priest of Mondain". If you are unsure about a quest, double clicking the quest giver again will sometimes yield a clue. In this case, they refer to the followers of Mondain.
To get to the Minotaur dungon, go NW out of the city of Umbra, then head north. At the top there is a hook looking tip of land. On this tip you will find crystals on a pedastal. Doubleclick them. The entrance to the city is that orange gate. doubleclick it.

Dreadhorn cannot be done alone. You need to collect keys off of some of the critters and then you meet up with Dreadhorn. Dreadhorn is what is known as a peerless boss. These are the masters of the dungeon they reside in. They are designed to be too tough for doing solo. The loot for that quest is average so don't know yourself out completing it. It allows you access to the Twisted Weald (mushroom cave, ilsh spirituality). her you will find the "puppies". Cu Sidhe. They are only ridable by elves unless you have the pads of the Cu Sidhe minor artifact.

A hovering wisp is one of the mysteries of beta. The scroll is the recipe to make them. An alchemist takes 4 captured essense (obtainable from the peerless of the Prism dungeon) and makes a hovering wish. It's a little wisp statue type thing (meaning you hold it and can lock it down). It may not have been functioning during beta so I would be interested in knowing what it does too.

Parrots spawn as loot on Peerless Bosses, Named Monsters (thinks with a name instead of a group), and they used to be loot on the Thieves in the citadel.

Ferrets spawn in Prism. They were supposed to be very rare but apparently the devs changed their minds because I see them everywhere. They spawn in "a cozy place" in the Prism dungeon. Parrots are not tameables and they just kind of sit there on a perch and say your words back to you. You can feed them but it is not required.
Ferrets are just cute little pets. They do nothing, well I guess you could train one up The other new house pet is a squirrel. they spawn in the minotaur dungeon and also are just for looks.
