It throws a lot of people off...

I sold books that I wrote with my runebooks about how to do the quest. I actually sold more information books then I did runebooks. Which is good..I didn't write a detailed walkthrough...but the basics...and my rune I called it "Go to Spirituality" lol...

Anyway..I'll be putting up the info on UOF tonight for anyone else who wants some help going through it.

The whole item based era of AOS brought out the worst in people in my opinion.

More scammers popped out of the wood work since AOS
More greed and more grief.

Re: Expansions breeds Ignorance and Rudeness

Definately more grief... I've seen two sides so far.. the Sap quest was pretty tame while I was there.. people stood and line and waited for it to spawn. Just before I left though.. one guy was running around scooping it up and then spamming "Sap for 1Mil Gold!!".. There's the greed.

Re: Expansions breeds Ignorance and Rudeness

Can't you page a GM on people doing this stuff. Especially killing off what needs to be done for a quest. That is just plain ignorant and selfish for people to hack on people trying to finish a quest.

*shakes head and comes back to reality* oh man...I forgot...GM's don't give a crap!

Re: Expansions breeds Ignorance and Rudeness

On Siege.. I don't blame you Se'an.. I tried it on my paladin today and at every hot spot were people gating in and out looking for potential targets. On the other shards.. if your characters can hold their own, go for it...

I re-ran the quest on Fel on my paladin there without actually accepting the quests and had a blast just chasing off the pk's so that those who were actually trying to do the quest could have a breather.

Re: Expansions breeds Ignorance and Rudeness

I so agree with that theory of item basedness and rudeness. before aos it was all about skills. but see, nothing compares to what pacific has offerd. ive played on almost evey shard and by far, and i mean by FAR pacific is the rudest overall and has been completely deplenished of all what UO used to stand for. arty whores rule everything from champ spawns to trade it self. and kindness is the rarest item of all. the playign feild is so uneven its rediculous. if only UO could just go back to how it was. personally, i only think its gunna get worse, they should have shards like the olden days, back when it was good. just my opinion though.
