just finished making the core of my bushido/chiv archer. i want to take him to do doom and some champ spawns. does anyone have good advise as to
what type of bows i will need to pick up in order for him to be most effective. thanks.

finding the right bow depends on your dexterity... at 115 with 35 ssi you can use a crossbow very effectively especially if you find one with velocity and a spell (concussion shot RULES)

if you wanted to go old school tho and use a simple bow i would look for a composite made of ash with HLD/hit spell because of the speed/distance and AI

Whatever you decide, for PvM I would want SSI first, DI second and then mana leech after that, especially for an ABC archer spamming LS...you'll want the mana leech unless you have med/focus and meddable armor. After that, for PvM, I'd go for the other leeches, hit lower attack, and then hit lower defense/hit spell. JMO. For Doom, you want a Demon slayer and Undead slayer, most folks carry a Mischief Maker and Night Reaper.

Also with doing champs you also want to use magical shortbows for there chain lighting special.

is the magical shortbow a recipee?

a good pvm repeater is the best archer pvm weapon.. dbl strike.. I've hit the df for 400hp without a slayer...

I heard that for the dreadhorn you need a weapon with hight hld, is that true ?
