so i am under 300 skill point atm, i have a 95 music and a 101.3 peace but im getting about 1 full skill point every 2 hours. does it always take this long?? im in my house and i have my guys horse and a bandit outside the question is should i go somewhere else to macro or it doesnt matter where i am?

I believe the barding difficulty determines the chance of gains in some way. I could be wrong however I was always more successful gaining by doing harder and harder mobs. Also I would switch instruments to always keep my chance of success in the 65-70 range. For instance when I started drags I would use a dragon slayer instrument, then as I got higher I would use a gm instrument, then as I got even higher I would switch to a reg instrument. When gains slowed down I used the barding calc to find a new target.

Go to Luna bank or West Brit Bank. Make a macro with UOAssist to spam area peace (target yourself). Hold key down, sit by PC reading a book or watching a movie. It will cruise up, especially at your skill level. Make SURE you don't let music go over 100 at this point, as it will seriously slow down your gains. I've found the more targets around, the faster I gained. I don't know if that's my human bias coming in or factual game mechanics lol. As with anything in game, do NOT do this unattended or it is considered unattended macroing and illegal.

ok so i got to 108.3 and im trying to get to my cap of 120 and im under 300 skill points still. but my gains are even worse now. in town or my house in fel i gain about .2 an hour. should i go peace dragons till 120? what should i do? cause .2 an hour is driving me crazy

with your skills below 300 its gonna be tough unless you have a really good suit to survive the attacks. Dunno what to tell you except make sure your using regular instruments as I've found as you get higher you seem to gain faster with lower instruments. I could be wrong about this but it has been my experience.
