That's the question. I've been honoring everything and have achieved the first path. But I don't know why. Are there any bonuses to gaining the highest path in Honor?

When you build up your honor, and then honor yourself you will be able to wander about in dangerous situations without being targeted. The higher your honor, the longer it lasts when you honor yourself. Want to tame that greater dragon? Honor. Want to walk through a pile of minotaur captains and miasmas to get your body you just lost? Honor.

You have to Honor harder and harder things to keep gaining, like soloing ancient liches in Khaldun, so getting Knight(highest level) is pretty tough.

Wanna walk thru and get your tickets? Use honor. No monster will target you.

Highest level, Knight of Honor lasts 5 minutes. Great for recouping items from your corpse in monster infested areas, pvp without the monster running interference, safer taming of aggresive creatures, and getting/dropping peerless keys. There is a cool down period of five(?, not positive) minutes between being able to honor yourself.

I think honoring yourself also costs you a pip of Honor. Be prepared to recharge it if you use it frequently.

Honor gets you, to a level of prestige that only you many enjoy.
the virtues are destine to honor those that follow them.
To many ignore these aspects and to them i say your hurting your own level of greatness.
