Coming back after a long long time

Hey all

If I remember rightly there hadn't even been an expansion when I left .. so it has been a while.

I'm sure this has been asked, but searching was pulling up way too many threads.

I'm going to start from scratch and I am a bit confused as to the expansion Mondains Legacy. If I downlaod the trial from fileplanet, will it contain everything? On UO's website it appears you have to purchase a code for ML after downloading the trial (I guess if you want it). So if I am understanding it correctly, when the trial ends I will have paid for the original download plus ML?

I'm going to scoot over to the local Futureshop and EB to see if I can find the 9th anniversary box, which might make things easier.

Anyways, I'll eventually get on to the Sonoma shard, if you see someone just standing there looking bewildered, please don't kill me too much lol!

Definitely get 9AE, it's the most recent box, includes everything.

Yeah I went that way. FS had it on sale for 5.95 so I bought two incase the kid shows some interest (WoW enthusiast).
I just downloaded the Reborn and used the retail key and voila!

I'm having a weird glitch that after a while of playing I can't pick anything up and drag it. I have to exit the game and login again. Hopefully the laptop fairs better as I'm guessing it is a video driver issue .. I mean who tests UO anymore lol!

Run your PC and laptop's maintenance... CHKDSK; AV/AS scans; Windows Update; update all the aud, I/O & vid drivers, Disk Cleanup, and defrag. WU, drivers and performance really make a difference.

Yup, all of the above done and done. I actually work on PC's for a living so I drive my wife nuts with constant work on the computers.

I'm using Vista 64, so tonight I'll try on my Vista laptop and see how things go.

Took me forever to remember how to chop a tree and then remembered the weight problem hah hah !
