Is there a way of removing a disguise before the 2 hour timer is up? I decided to try a disguise kit on my thief. Pretty cool being someone else for a bit. The problem is I logged off before it wore off. Now that I logged in again, it thinks I am the new character name and I have no macros. I assume that once it wears off I should be able to log in fresh and have my macros back. But until then, I'm a useless sitting duck.

If it does not wear off, try banking all you things and then running out and getting killed.

Thanks- tried that. Still disguised when rezzed. So I just left myself logged in and went to work. Hopefully I will be myself when I get home.

Yeah that is a problem not only with a disguise kit but also if you log out under the effects of the incognito spell.

What it does is as soon as you log in while still under the effects of the kit/spell UO creates a new char folder for whatever name the kit/spell renamed your character. Of course this folder is empty and it no longer recognizes your characters real name. The only thing you can do to fix this is to go into your UO program folder, find the folder with your chars real name and copy the contents into the folder with your chars fake name.

Sorry I do not know how to remove a diguise kit, if it's like the incognito spell you have to just wait for it to wear off. Hopefully by the time you get home from work everything will be back to normal.

**Although you may need to log out and then back in to get the game to recognize it's that character again and not the "fake" one.**

Cast polymorph on yourself, then return to human form.
