Vavalka (Destard's Thurs and Fri offering) is a reaaaaal pain in the tail.

Strategy:
Start of the fight, work in pairs. A mage and a tamer with either a pup or a dread war horse. Both people heal the pet, who tanks. mage drops nature's fury when he can. So does tamer.

When pet gets too low, tamer mounts and moves away for extra care.

Later...
Val's weapon breaks and she starts insta killing pets and people alike, but she move reeeeeal slow-like. So both mage and tamer use mind blasts, staying on their horses and healing/ressing when needed.

Much later...
WODWODWOD! You did remember to bring your arcane focus, didn't you? (We actually ran out in the middle of the fight to get ours.)

Soon, we'll get another one. But I have a funny feeling she'll be back. I also think that these... strangers... aren't related to the vanguard.

Something tells me that the time has come to choose our loyalties, be it the Shadowlords, Minax, Lord British or the Council of Mages. We've seen the Shadowlords come, I believe we're seeing the servants of Minax now, since according to the stories they definitely aren't allied with the Shadowlords (sworn to kill the ones who follow that human, meaning Andrew I believe). They've been spied on by the wisp of the Council (starts with a 'b', can't remember the whole name) and They DEFINITELY aren't truly loyal to British.

Anyway, I believe I'm seeing the greater picture now. And the time has come to choose our loyalties.

One, the afore mentioned tactics still apply, with one big addition.

When Rivatek duplicates himself, all of his duplicates can do damage and kill you as well as he can, so NO AREA EFFECT SPELLS!

On a lighter note, being attacked by 15 super-half dragons at the same time wields some hilarious results. You really should try earthquaking near him. Seriously.

Heartwood: check...

By the way, don't kill the stranger in heartwood. He kills the whole shard.

No tactics advice for this one.
