Six hour drive is NOT close in my opinion.... And with Gas the way it is..... Definatly NOT good...... Besides which... I'm not too keen on the idea of driving around in Chicago.

You're right, it's not close. But with the price of gas and airline fuel surcharges... I'm just glad the town halls haven't been canceled. The San Diego Town Hall is only 2 hours from me, but the Seattle Town Hall (yes, I'm going to both) is a 20 hour drive (I'll fly though).

Haven't heard any names. But have heard that with the town hall being only 30 minutes or so from the EAM offices... there could be a LOT of devs there.

I'd love to go to Seattle, check out the Experience Music Project, the needle, all that tourist stuff . I should have gone to the Bethesda meetup, I'm only about an hour away. I've been disappointed with the last few meet-ups though. With nothing too big on the immediate horizon, save for the Vanguards, I'm not compelled to go. Mondain's Legacy was a huge draw for me when the DC meet-up rolled by, and I'm waiting for a reason.

Only an hour?! You probably drive that far just to get out of the house for a drive... but not for UO? C'mon Lycanthropy... you can do it!

They'll buy lunch (they usually have a buffet spread). Ask those burning questions. Maybe get some swag (they usually give stuff away). Probably meet in RL some peops from your shard, that you only knew by their char names.

Then double-down and stay for the DAoC Road Show after the UO Town Hall.

Forgot to add... take that digital camera with you, or borrow one. You'll be a hero.

Nok, another time, and place, my friend . The DC meetup was fantastic, and I bet the Bethesda, MD, meetup will be just as cool. Getting into ML beta was probably one of the most fun parts of my nine-year UO romp, so I hope EA will offer something neat like that to the visitors today, if not some keychains and posters ;). I hope Stygian Abyss will roll around the next time EA comes by on tour (it is nice to think the EA offices are only 15 minutes away from where I live ;P). I'd be the first to RSVP ;P.
