That's not a description of Stratics boards, that's just a somewhat biased description of UOHall, I post and moderate on two shard forums.
On those we have active, supportive communities helping each other, holding events and sharing their knowledge of the game.
Most of the various skill forums are the same, the tamer forum particularly is active and helpful.
